Ifenyinwa Okeke
Maid of Honor

Hi everyone, it’s THEE Maid of Honor, Ife, aka Gloria’s favorite sister and twin.

Growing up, Gloria and I were inseparable, and that bond remains strong. She’s more than just my older sister; she’s my diary, my inspiration, and my role model. When she first mentioned Kwame, I was protective and a bit skeptical, wondering who this man was that might take my sister's attention away. As I got to know him, I carefully watched how he treated her, making sure he understood just how special she is.

Over time, Kwame showed that he not only cherished Gloria but also valued our family. He made an effort to build genuine relationships with us, proving he was worthy of her love. One memorable moment was when he called to check on me after a hangout, ensuring I got home safely. That gesture solidified my trust in him.

Gloria and Kwame have become my best friends, my therapists, and my guides. I am elated to be a part of this celebration, knowing they deserve nothing but happiness, love, and prosperity. I pray for their union and wish them all the best in Jesus' Mighty Name!

Mercy Okeke
Sister of the Bride

I remember first meeting Kwame. We weren’t close initially because I wasn't very open with guys regarding my sisters. However, Kwame showed how much he loved not only my sister but our family too.
He helped me train for softball after church, sent me tips on improving, and he and Gloria would come to my games, which meant a lot since my family rarely attended. He even cheered me on during tough games.
I believe Gloria and Kwame will be wonderful parents, and their love will inspire their children to change the world. I'm grateful for their impact on my life and for always being there for me. I pray for blessings on their relationship and future generations. Love you guys, bye!

Roxanne Okeke
Sister of the Bride

My favorite memory would have to be the time when me, Gloria and Kwame went on a long walk together. We saw people fishing, a playground, and more. I felt very happy, like a family.

Gloria is like a mother to me. She raises me and takes care of me like I’m her own child. She teaches me things about life that nobody would tell me and I would be lost without her. She is very special to me.

So I pray that as you two become one as, you take my mother, the Lord will keep you guys as one and that the light that makes you two amazing people, will shine brighter together. Lord knows that you two are right for each other. I pray that He strengthens your relationship even more when married, and the Lord will never let you two run dry of happiness. Amen.

Honorable Bridesmaid

It's impossible to pick just one favorite memory with Gloria from our 20+ years of growing up together. Our bond has been a highlight in every season of my life. From fake "summer school" sessions where she taught Ife and I algebra during her break to singing "Father Can You Hear Me" at every family gathering and staying up all night on Saturdays, our shared moments always bring a smile to our faces. Jesu Wakala IYA! (Don’t worry, it’s an insider, you just wouldn't understand lol). Not to mention our deep conversations about our walks with God, womanhood, parents, academics, and relationships. Gloria's advice, though sometimes tough, is always delivered with a smile and a joke that lightens any serious discussion.

Now that I’ve met Kwame, I get a similar feel and I’m sure it will grow as our relationship deepens over the years to come (the rest of life lol). But even from my few encounters with him, it’s a no-brainer why God would ordain them to be together.

May their laughter, joy, and mutual respect never fade, even through challenges and parenthood. I pray their bond grows stronger each year, shielding them from external pressures. May they create enduring memories that bring them joy and draw them closer together, reflecting the love described in God's word.

Ashley Amponsem
Honorable Bridesmaid

To Gloria. A great friend and sister rolled in one. As a person with no sisters, Gloria is one person that I can say has watched out for me like she does for her own sisters. From our hang outs at church, outside of church, your house, and the ASIF apartment (LOL), you’ve inspired me to let go and enjoy life. You’ve shown me what it’s like to have someone to confide in in times of excitement and hardship. Thank you for every phone call, text message, spontaneous outing, and sleep over. God sees what you do for others and I hope you never let that deter you from being the iGloria that I know and love.

Emmanuel and Gloria!!! Oh how I’ve enjoyed our many “podcast” talks and late night outings. It is those moments I cherish and hope to continue with the both of you!

It is my prayer that through this union, you and Emmanuel will continuously be blessed. May your household be blessed. May God continue to shine his favor in your life as you become Mrs. Asamoah-Frimpong. Love you dearly!

I have many great memories with Gloria. This isn’t necessarily my favorite, but one that I cherish. While we were in college there was one night where we spent 4 hours on the phone and we didn’t go to sleep until about 3am. I remember my mom coming into my room and asking “ah ah, who are you still talking to at this time?” And I said “Gloria” and she understood and left my room. Over the years, both of our moms have accepted that when Gloria and I are talking, we’re talking talking. I remember getting off the phone and thinking “wow there’s no one else I’d stay on the phone this long with.” As someone who’s usually very quiet, when it comes to Gloria I always feel so free to talk. This shows the authenticity and the livelihood of our friendship that we can talk for hours and hours, and laugh ENDLESSLY without ever noticing the time.

A prayer that I have for the couple is that they will forever grow in their friendship. Friendship in marriage is so important and I pray that God strengthens their bond and they fall in love with each other more and more through every season. I pray that the Holy Spirit guides their every step and decision making, and guards them from every evil eye and hand. Their marriage will prosper and remain grounded in God in Jesus name!

Gloria is one of — if not the longest friend I’ve had. I’ve known Glo since birth so she’s practically my sister. It’s hard to choose a favorite memory but to know her is to love her. Gloria’s story is so beautiful and this part of her story is by far one of my favorites. Seeing her enter this next chapter of life is so amazing and I’m so glad to continue to be by her side through this part of her story. I know that everything in the past, good or bad, has prepared her for this moment.

I pray that in this next chapter God will bless Gloria’s matrimony with the joy they have shown others throughout their lives.

Diana Moneke

I remember the day I met the sister I never knew I had. We instantly became inseparable, spending that summer immersed in all things Okeke. Our cherished routine included girl talks over lunch, Starbucks runs, car rides with our favorite songs, and sleepovers.

Globebe is incredibly selfless and kind, always supporting her loved ones and even strangers. She spreads light, love, and strength wherever she goes, making her a truly admirable and loving sister, a beacon of hope and benevolence for all who know her.Little did I know, my dad introduced me to an angel who would cover me when he had to use his wings in the sky. Thank you, sister in love, for being you and for everything you have ever done for me.

To the brother who endured my suspicious looks for a year, you are a man of honor, respect, and intelligence. Take good care of her; she is our treasured jewel. I pray for strength, love, and joy in your marriage, and may God’s presence always be in your home. Amen.

Thinking about Gloria and Kwame's journey to everlasting love fills my heart with joy and brings tears to my eyes. I'm thrilled they've found each other and are about to embark on life together as husband and wife. From the moment I first heard about Kwame, I knew these two were meant to be. Gloria's face lights up whenever his name is mentioned, and the countless hours they spend talking show their deep connection.

I remember thinking, "These two better get married!" because it was so clear they had found their soulmates. The amount of hours they spend on the phone is truly insane—it should be studied! I'm so happy they enjoy each other’s company and have chosen to take this big step in sealing their love with marriage.

May the same God who orchestrated their union continue to guide their journey together. I pray that God blesses their home with everlasting love, peace, and harmony. I eagerly await the day when little Glorias and Kwames are running around their house. Love you both deeply! - Favour

Hi everyone! I'm Nicole, and I've known Gloria for as long as I can remember from church events. Our bond deepened after a long conversation one Sunday, leading to a sleepover that marked the start of our close friendship. Gloria is like a twin sister to me, always bringing joy and support into my life. I feel incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful friend, and our friendship is ordained by God.

As for Kwame, I’ve known him since childhood, and we even have pictures together from Sunday school days. I remember a memorable dinner when I saw firsthand the special dynamic between Gloria and Kwame. Despite Kwame’s tough exterior, he’s truly a sweetheart.

I’m so grateful to know this amazing couple and to witness their special union. My prayer is that God continues to bless them abundantly and fill their marriage with love and happiness. Marriage is a beautiful blessing, and I’m excited to celebrate with these two wonderful individuals! Love you both to the moon and back.

I first connected with the bride through her captivating YouTube content. I was instantly drawn to her creativity, authenticity, charisma, and the way she connected with her audience (I loveddd the story times and vlogs ughhh)... Our paths crossed in person through a mutual friend, who is also a part of this wedding party. From that initial meeting, we felt an instant connection and decided to hang out the very next day.

What started as a brief evening together turned into an unforgettable night. We spent hours delving into deep conversations, sharing stories, dreams, and laughter, eventually talking the night away. That spontaneous sleepover became the foundation of a cherished friendship, one where the ease and comfort of our conversations made it feel like we had known each other forever. Each phone call and hangout since then has been filled with joy and meaningful discussions, always finding new things to laugh and talk about.

Dear Lord, Thank you for bringing them together and for the love they share. I pray for your blessings on their marriage, that it be filled with joy, love, and understanding. May their bond grow stronger, and their home be blessed with peace and prosperity. In Your holy name, I pray. Amen.

Best Man

One of my favorite memories with my brother is when we were watching Tom & Jerry together. He laughed so hard that he fell off the couch onto the floor. I met Gloria at church, and a memorable moment I cherish is from a few years back when she gave me an RC car for Christmas. I enjoyed playing with it until I accidentally broke it. I pray that God gives them to the wisdom to move according to His will. May the Lord order your steps.

To be honest, there have been a lot of favorite memories. I will give a few short memories. It was during his birthday when we went out to main event. This was the first time I am seeing Emmanuel with his different friend groups. It is a favorite memory because Emmanuel is more so always doing something, he does not really relax. It was nice to actually see my boy happy around the people he loves! Another is all the jam sessions we have had. We always get together to make music and it’s always fun! Emmanuel has always been there when I needed him as a friend and a brother for sure, either it being an advice, hangout, listening to my problems, and supporting me.

Gloria, big sis, there’s also a lot of memories we have had together. One of my favorites was when Emmanuel, I and some friends were helping you move out of your apartment. That was the time I actually got to know you a bit more. I didn’t want to go home after we were done because we made it an adventure that day. Then again both you and Emmanuel have shown up for me in many ways. Y’all deserve each other. May God continue to bless both of y’all and May God also bless y’all marriage!

I’ve known Kwame for most of my childhood. We both grew up in the same church in Baltimore. Kwame’s mother auntie Joyce, who was our Sunday school teacher always used to give him a hard time compared to the rest of us.The other kids and I used to make fun of him because of that. (That’s my favorite memory of him by the way) but looking back at it, that was her way of training her son in the Lord and impacting him for future hard times.

His family had been transferred over to Frederick so Kwame and I lost touch for a time but thanks to God we reconnected because of our love of music. I honestly wouldn’t be where I am musically if it weren’t for Kwame. We both would push each other both music and in life. While spending time together, I always appreciated his care free attitude. From Church gigs to gospel concerts we would always have fun while playing together. We even started a music group called "Ascension". We were looking for singers, not knowing that God had other plans that group would bring him closer to his fiancé, Gloria. I’m grateful for the good times we spent as band mates and friends. As you and Gloria prepare to open a new chapter in y’all's relationship, I pray that the Lord allows both of you to ascend to new Heights. Amen

“I met Kwame back in 2012 when I first visited Burtonsville PIWC assembly. We were both keyboardists for our churches at the time so it wasn’t difficult to start a conversation about music. That conversation became a friendship and subsequently grew into brotherhood. I met Gloria a couple of years after they started dating and grew a lovely friendship with her as well. I am grateful for their upcoming union and my prayer for them is that the Lord will grant them the grace and favor for this journey.”

Meeting Kwame around 2014 of course at the RAC center (at UMBC) pumping iron getting swole, you already know we connected off of that. We started talking more regularly finding out he we had similar interests like soccer & anime, so the convos started flowing at this point. We went from simple head nods and a dap up to one of the coolest guys I know in my circle. Even seeing Kwame at events I knew it was gonna be a good time with him there and his dance moves. This man would go move for move on the dance floor killing em shinning his teeth anyhow.

When I met Gloria for the first time she planned Kwame’s whole birthday with some help at Main Event I think back in 2019 or 2018? I knew immediately they would be together. I was like “ain’t no one putting in this much effort for a man’s birthday without it going somewhere”. Needless to say from day one I knew you guys would be together, and I’m truly happy to see it all come together. May God bless you both in your next chapter in life as you guys go on this journey.

I met Emmanuel [Eman aka my Twin to me] in 2012 at Freshman orientation at UMBC. As by fate, we ended up in the same introduction cluster that probably consisted of about 10 people. Through the ups and downs of tumultuous college life we found common interests in culture, dance, fitness, and scholarship. Two things I can say about Eman is that he always had my back and that he has a drive to do great things in life.

As we know a great man, needs a great woman…Which brings me to Gloria. One thing I’ve noticed is that she is always smiling. She has brought a light to my brother that words cannot explain but has also fueled his drive to be a better man. What else can you ask for? Much thanks to the Bride and Groom for being an inspiration that we all need in our lives

Kwame Kwame...
There was no one better at finding food or that knew how to get free food than Kwame. Went on a lot of side missions with the fam right here & needless to stay, they were lit. Of course we had a killer gym routine that got us right & usually rendered us immobile for a while. We were in several dance teams & whenever we were out, there was no hesitation to shut down the dancing floor with our whining skills. Clearly we had a lot in common but Amongst all that, one thing that made us stick together was our similarities of moral thinking. He wasn’t the type of person that conformed to negative society norms.

Now I'll say this, Kwame getting married took me by surprise, not saying I didn't think he would, more like not this soon -- which leads me to Gloria.

My encounter with her, started when she had set up his birthday which wasn’t as shocking cuz it’s Kwame lol. But, he had called me another time to meet her and his other friends -- it started to sink in, because Kwame doesn’t call me to meet a girl usually unless it’s serious. After I met her, then I started to see what his reasons were as she appeared to be um, for lack of better words, made for him. I could also tell that a lot of profound positive change started when she had been around, extending even to us (his friends).
I could go on & on, but it ain’t my story to tell. Definitely elated to celebrate with them on the D day.

“I met Eman in back in 2018 at UPS, what we now think of as the good ol days, are memories of the times we worked 12-14 hour shifts at UPS loading waves of boxes and recycling office paperwork. He’d pass my station after every shift and say, “Another easy day bro”, as if the chaos in this factory was light work. Till this day, he’s still that cool cat under any pressures and also one of few men I trust with everything and call my brother.

Later in time, I was introduced to Gloria while hanging out with Emmanuel. She was very outspoken and buoyant. I could tell she’d keep Eman on his toes, but also would be the perfect balance for his life. I am very grateful to have them in mine. I pray for their constant growth and happiness together. I pray for gentle hands and spirit so they can continue to make a happy home and prosper with each other”.

Where does the story begin? It started with my brother, named Emmanuel. The meaning of his name is “God is With Us.”

While working at UPS as a loader on the purple belt, I encountered my supervisor named Emmanuel. At first I didn’t know much about him, but after having conversations about life, the gym, girls and family we literally became brothers instantly. From the car rides with him and Sage (my best friend), to going bowling, hanging out, eating at random times, playing basketball, and always giving me advice about life I will forever be grateful for having you in my life.

Then came along Gloria who I met years later and remember Emmanuel telling me he was praying about marriage. I looked at him confused. When I met Gloria I felt her spirit and I knew she was right for my brother. Here we are wedding in October 2024. The Bible says in Proverbs 18:22 “He who finds a wife, finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.” I’m glad you found your wife and pray that you continue to grow into the man that you are and the one you are going to continue to develop into as you go into this new chapter in your life.
